RFHIC uses lead-free materials that keep RoHS restrictions. RFHIC bans usage of containing more than agreed levels of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants

Directive EU RoHS legislation limits the amount of allowable levels of the following substances by % weight at the homogeneous level :
Lead (Pb) 0.10% 1000ppm
Mercury (Hg) 0.10% 1000ppm
Cadmium (Cd) 0.01% 100ppm
Hexavalent Chromium (Cr(VI)) 0.10% 1000ppm
Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) 0.10% 1000ppm
Polybrominated Diphenylethers (PBDE) 0.10% 1000ppm
